What a true pleasure to capture such a love-filled, extraordinary wedding. Sarah & Drew, your unique touches made your wedding one for the record books. May your big hearts and many talents continue to bring light to the world. Many blessings for your marriage and new life together.
Birds were chirping and the sun was smiling as the bustle of wedding preparations began at Little Tennessee Event Farm on Saturday afternoon. A warm, soft, early fall breeze swept through the farm causing the many lanterns and wooden words of love hanging from the trees over the ceremony spot to excite in the wind. These movements were not unlike the flutters of excitement making their way through Kelsi & Thomas as they each prepared for the sacrament of marriage.
The respect and admiration that Kelsi and Thomas have for one another is something to be awed by. They not only share the twitter-patter kind of love, but also the deep reverent love that shines as an example of Christ’s love in the world.
The couple’s wedding celebration was a charming, elegant delight of warm blush and taupe tones. Sweet flowers filled jars atop rustic stumps and tables. And the “naked” cake was a sweet vision – just wait ‘til you see!
Kelsi & Thomas, thank you for allowing me the privilege to document your special day. I wish you many prayers and blessings as you navigate your new life together. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Smith!

God led them to one another at just the right time in their lives. And on Saturday their lives were joined together forever.
The first thing I noticed when I arrived to begin shooting for the day was the abundance of smiles. Ginny & Caleb are a laid back, fun loving couple who surround themselves with those who also love to laugh. Their families and friends are genuine and kind. Though smiles surrounded me much of the day, tears of joy shined on many cheeks during the ceremony as Ginny & Caleb vowed to one another a life of love and faith under the multi-colored glow of stain glass windows.
To celebrate we headed to the Renaissance Ballroom where a garden-party – like scene awaited us. When Ginny let me know of the colors for her wedding a few weeks before the day, she told me they would be cobalt blue and lime green. “It sounds wild.” she said. “But it will be tasteful!”
It was tastefully done indeed.
Ginny & Caleb thank you for the honor of documenting your special day. I wish you the best as you navigate your new life together! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Stevens!
The Resewood family stole my heart -there is no other way to say it. Grace is just as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside, and is always putting others before herself. Jay emits a calm, joyful spirit and is generous with a warm smile and a helping hand. Their daughter Julianne, is a shining light. As I am sure their friends will attest, Grace & Jay have a way of making you feel as if you are the only person in the world when you talk with them. The love that they share is a beautiful sight to behold. It was a true pleasure to document their wedding and to get to share in the celebration of their love. From the warm & gracious couple, to the vibrant blooms, to the classic book centerpieces at the reception, this wedding was straight from a fairy tale. Grace & Jay, I wish you many wonderful years together! #HappilyeverResewood
I had a fantastic time at Leah and Evan's wedding in my new hometown! It was so much fun to capture their special day! The ceremony was held at Trinity Church of God and the reception was located at the Marshall Alumni Center - Such as fun venue as Evan was attending his graduation the day after their wedding! Their wedding style reminded me of the old film "White Christmas". It was truly a classy affair with just the right amount of winter wonderland details. My best to the new Mr. & Mrs. Morgan!

Tommy and Elizabeth are a delightful couple whose love for one another is evident to anyone who meets them. I am so happy to have captured their special day! Their wedding was both whimsical and elegant, with an added touch of adventure as a thundering rainstorm greeted us during the ceremony and invited everyone inside. No worries, however as the wedding was still gorgeous and smiles never left the faces of the bride and groom.
